Chimaobi’s Story

We especially celebrate Chimaobi, our first trainee to graduate from our skill training scheme. He graduated in March 2024 having trained in painting and paint-mixing for six months. With EVM’s support, he has now started his own trade as a professional painter. EVM has provided Chimaobi with his first set of tools, with some cash to enable him support his wife and child while his business kicks off in earnest. He also has the option to continue to work for a short time with his trainer until he develops his own customer base.
